Paralegal
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, including research, drafting documents, and managing case files, with a special focus on personal injury law.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
- Manage and organize case files and documents
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases
- Review and summarize legal documents and evidence
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to ethical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited program
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in personal injury law, wrongful death, or liability is a plus
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite
